  Catie is very discriminatory against larger Hispanic customers. Would not give me a refund but have my wife (Caucasian ) the refund after she called and spoke with her. Was very rude, scolded associates in front of customers and when told have a nice evening she turned her back. Will not recommend REI to anyone after this incident

  Crazy that you need photo ID to use member benefits. Went to get something and gave phone number and name but were not allowed to use credit because account is under partner's name, even when same last name. Like every member of a family needs an account? Is a scam and unacceptable for a brand that markets itself as down to earth to act this way. Will not spend there ever again and hope all REIs are not as unpleasant.
