  REI is the go-to place for hiking and no one knows hiking shoes better than Gabby. She found shoes that fit my narrow feet, talked through the virtues of 3 brands, and left me eager to get back on the trail after a hole popped in my old shoes. I'll head back.

  Expensive, but the reason I won't be back is that the cashiers are obnoxious if they don't have your phone number. They simply aren't willing to let you give them money and acquire the items if they don't have your number.

  Big shoutout to Jason who helped me out with the climbing shoes. I didn’t know y’all had a rock I could try the shoes out on and he recommended bringing the ones I liked over there to try out. HUGE game changer and completely swayed my opinion on some shoes and ultimately led me to finding the perfect pair for me. When I’m crushing the V5’s it’ll be because of Jason.

  Made a purchase online for pickup 4 hours later I go to the store and the item is not there and the employee stated that she couldn't see that I'd even placed tye order even though I had an order number issued by REI. Placed another order online for pickup called to verify stock. An hour later when I returned.. with an order number.. I was told that the order hadn't come through.. checked the CC and it had a hold for the exact amount of the item I wanted ...I canceled the order and went with a more reliable source.. No confidence in this organization... K
