  I just visited the Northridge location, and an employee named Marty, who was working in the shoe department, made a racial “ICE” joke; highly unprofessional. As a paying customer who comes to REI frequently and as a member, I am extremely disappointed. This type of comment is unacceptable and does not align with the values I expect from REI. All other staff has been respectful.
