Fantastic staff if you can find one on the floor. Shockingly large candy selection at checkout line; beware and keep your children far away.

I was looking for go pro parts aka screws and bolts and the person who answered phone was clearly unfamiliar with anything go pro. Rather than pass me along to someone more knowledgeable-she tried to upsell me an $80 product. Really Rei? What happened to the good ‘ol’ Rei?

Fix your hours on Google maps. It says you close at 9pm. Drove 40 minutes to pick something up in the store that was not in stock in nearby stores to discover you actually close at 8pm.

Absolutely Disastrous Experience at REI* I don’t even know where to start. I walked into REI hoping to grab some camping gear and maybe get a little advice. Instead, I entered what felt like an alternate universe where customer service goes to die. Every employee looked like they were auditioning for a documentary called *“How Not to Help Customers.”* I asked about tents, and the guy pointed “somewhere over there” — which turned out to be the bike section. After twenty minutes of wandering, I finally found the tents... right next to the person who sent me on the quest. Then, when I went to check out, the cashier tried to sell me memberships, and a branded credit card, which sounded like an investment scam. The line moved slower than a glacier in July. Never coming back also Manager needs to get a new hand so he can point correctly😂😂😂😂

Make Sure you do your full research, do not trust what the "Specialists" in store say. We bought a bike for my oldest son a little over a year ago. We talked with their bike specialist about his riding style and where he would use it to see if the bike would be a good fit. Based on their recommendation and the sale they had on the bike, we bought the bike. Since then the bike has not lived up to what they said it would. On simple trail riding over the weekend, the derailer broke. This was the 4th time something has broken. When talking to the repair guy, he explained that the derailer holder was designed to break and does do frequently. Had we known this before we would have gone with a different bike. Also, the shop took 3+ days to repair it for ~$250. Talking with a few other places in the South Bay, they say the fix should have been done in less than a day and about $100 less. DO NOT BUY FROM REI! They are just there to sell you on more and take your money. They are not actually specialists.
