Very friendly staff. Helped us with our questions on bear spray for our trip.

This branch doesn't do gas canister, bear spray disposal as other branches. They also don't carry things like carabiner. Not many staff to help you find things.

Colby had our trailer wheel spinning like new in no time. He fit us in and had things rolling smooth; progressional, courteous, all around good dude. The rest of the REI staff were super nice as well and we were checked on by just about everyone that worked there to make sure we found what we needed. Great group in Jackson!

I brought my bike in to the bike shop to get a flat fixed and was shocked at how quickly and friendly the repair was met! Colby is a PRO, an absolute wizard with bikes and so professional. It the half hour I was there alone, I overheard numerous conversations of him going above and beyond to help other customers, answer questions, and provide training to another employee. I would trust him with my bike ANYDAY - and considering I live on that sucker 6 months out of the year that’s big! Jackson was also so so friendly and such a big help getting me checked out and learning the ropes of the bike shop, he was so respectful and kind.
No matter your repair, the REI bike shop team will get you back out there!

Fairly good selection, and the store is always clean and nice! However, I try to get my gear from other places when possible due to price (partially) but this location is grossly pushy about the membership thing. I know what gear im here for and am happy to pay for it, but I dread going here because I KNOW im going to get bombarded and annoyed, or have to awkwardly say no a bunch of times at checkout. Its a good gear store, but I only go about once a season to stock up on a few things, so I don't need or want a membership. Staff here dont know when no means NO. REI has a consent problem that makes me feel uncomfortable during shopping and checkout, so I try to grab my things as efficiently as possible and get out before anyone can spiel at me.
