  I am writing as a concerned customer to report an upsetting experience my wife had with one of your employees — the General Manager named Rich. During her interaction with him, he was sexist, rude, and extremely disrespectful. His comments and attitude were completely unprofessional and made her feel very uncomfortable. As a paying customer, I expect her as well as myself to be treated with basic respect and courtesy. Instead, Rich’s behavior reflected very poorly on your company and created a hostile and inappropriate environment. I am genuinely disappointed and believe no customer should be made to feel this way. I hope this matter is taken seriously and properly addressed. Please ensure that other customers do not have to experience this kind of behavior in the future.

  Wonderful store! Proceeds go to helping nature. Los of good in house deals if you sign up to be a member. Lots of sales going on. Staff were awesome. Loved the bike shop gang. Everyone made my 10 yr old daughter feel comfortable and had good information on safety. Eli you’re the best.

  I have been waiting for REI to open a store in Elk Grove for many years. Finally, the wait is over. The REI Elk Grove store is having a grand opening this weekend. I can't wait to check out this new store. The store is big and perfectly laid out. I love this new REI store. The employees are super helpful and friendly. I am happy to have one more of my favorite stores near my home.

  The store is a little small if you compare it to CalExpo or Folsom. The store associates were very helpful.
