  Slater is an absolute gem. He managed my expectations about the Yeti cooler I was purchasing, wheeled it out to the vehicle for me, and even unboxed the item / recycled the box for me so I didn’t have to. REI Farmington is lucky to have him. Get that man a raise! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

  I was told that due to the type of security tag that I could not try on a clothing item in the changing room, but that I was welcome to try on in a store mirror. Perhaps you should upgrade your security tags instead of instructing people to strip down to their underwear in public?

  I've been an REI fan since about 1987. The quality/price ratio is excellent. Always has been. Last month was our first REI visit since relocation from NY. We were thrilled! Wife and I needed to be outfitted for a trip to Alaska. That meant rain gear and dealing with temperature swings. We got the 3rd degree on what we were planning to do and where. And based on that, staff recommended several products at different price points. He also gave his opinion. I went with Outdoor Research rain jacket and Arc'teyrx rain pants. Our guy at REI nailed it. The jacket is warm, breathable, not hot. Layering is easy. It was really the perfect choice. And we put it to the test!
