Delicious authentic BBQ, generous portions and multiple choices of sauces to add at the table: Kentucky Small Batch (my fave), Memphis Sweet, NC vinegar based, Texas, etc. Homey local atmosphere. Only downside is the popularity of the place. They do so much takeout and delivery, it can be a very long wait to get your food if you want to dine in.

Service was great, sides were really good, pork/chicken/sausage were also great… would have given 5 stars but the brisket was cold and tough. Maybe it was an off day. Still have only found good brisket at 2 places between Cincinnati and Lexington.
I came in on October 14, close to end of day (around 8ish). I called in to pick up an order as I knew that it was getting close to the end of the day, and verify that I was still able to place an order. The girls were very kind when I picked up the order, and this is in no way reflection of their customer service. However, when I sat down to eat my meal, it had a piece of plastic in my sandwich. Also, one of the sides in my meal was wrong. For restaurant reference, they marked my name as Cara.
Well it was packed with people but they said it only be bout 45 mins but it’s already been an hour almost 2 hours. I ordered here yesterday and it was still packed but they took only like 10 mins. I got a pulled pork burger it was good 👍. Update: I’m still waiting :( we got here at 6:30 left with food at 7:51 :(((

Staff is great. Very friendly.
That being said, everyone is too generous with their ratings and awards. I had a party of 6 and we tried half the menu.
- ribs are not fall off the bone
- brisket is too dry
- sausages skin too hard, not juicy
- vegetables too salty
- Mac and cheese isn’t creamy.
To top it all off the sauces just don’t provide a wow factor. When you are coming to this area on the bourbon trail, you have multiple choices. Make this your last option.
