- LSLisa SteinerApr 19, 20251.0My contractor used them in February (2 months ago) for construction on a home we are not in yet, and every day in the past 8 days I have received harassing thick, supposedly certified letters (they put that on the envelope) that they are putting a lien on my house for an unpaid bill with my contractor. Some days, I have gotten two thick packages. My contractor said they have used them for years but now new ownership. My contractor said they are handling it. All letters are dated over a week ago. They do not even give you a breather to address it.. If it’s truly unpaid, put the lien on and stop sending me harassing letters every day. I believe my contractor is settling their bill. Stop harassing me! It’s ridiculous. I suggest no contractor use them as they harass the end customer.
