The staff have been exceptional. They made the process very smooth. Which I truly appreciate since I was moving from over 100 miles away.

I’m going to write the review I wish was available when I was deciding on Midtown apartments. We’ll start with the good things. -LOCATION. The location can’t be beat. It’s the reason to live here. -Maintenance. Any repairs to the apartment are made quickly and easily. The app works really well. The maintenance guys are conscientious and accessible. -Apartment quality. The finishes are nice and everything works well and looks great. The patio we had was very nice. -Price. The value is extraordinary. What you get compared to what you would have to spend to buy something on The Monon is wild. -Did I mention the location? Some things that need improvement. -The leasing office. The staff is not good. They treat tenants like they are a nuisance. They had a lot of turnover in our time there and the staff is just not professional or helpful or even kind. In my opinion, Barrett and Stokely should be embarrassed that this office is main interface between their organization and their tenants. -Amenities. The two courtyards are closed for a big portion of the year. Probably almost 6 months. That means no access to the grills, hot tub, etc. -Parking Garage. This is probably out of Railyard’s control. It’s a tight garage. People are bad at parking and create chaos. It’s not helped by the dumpsters that often block the entrance and delivery vehicles that block the entrance and road. -The carpet in the halls and stairwells. It’s a running joke among tenants. The carpets are so dirty it is embarrassing to bring guests in. They did some cleaning recently and it seems better, but it is an ongoing concern. Besides being tenants, my wife and I have also owned and operated our own apartment buildings. I understand the challenges and tried to be fair. All in all, our experience was good and I’m torn between 4 and 5 stars. I’m giving them the benefit of the doubt on this one.
