Kept my car in a unit here for nearly 10 years, owner always let me park my truck on the outside for free when I would take my car out even for several days. Never had any problem, units are in good shape. Finally moved my things out and ended my rent without any issues.

The owner takes days to return phone calls, if he returns them at all. He charged my boyfriend an extra $30 late fee bc he “didn’t receive October’s check”. I was the with bf when he mailed it. (Mind you, mailing checks is the ONLY way to pay him.) After boyfriend mailed him another check, both checks were cashed, with the storage yard’s stamp on the back of both. (We were able to see that on his banking app.)
After trying to dispute this, he just claims, “my records are accurate”.
The unit had a leak in the roof, and once we dug through boxes, we found mice had been into them.

Quoted $80/mth on a 10x12 unit. Put the rate in my phone. Called back and set up an appointment and repeated, "10x12 for $80/mth..." He confirmed. Got therr with my stuff and he said it was $140/mth an he never quoted me $80. Shady, shady, shady. Was rude even before that. Needless to say, I left with my stuff. I'll find an honest company to do business with.
You get what you pay for. I rented a 6x10 unit here for about 8 months, which at $50/month is not a bad price. The unit was ok. It was not temp or humidity controlled but this didnt matter for the stuff I was storing. Facility is in decent shape, the door on my unit was a little damaged and didnt seal up. Again, not a problem for my stuff but it did let bugs and dust in. The proprietor isn't the best to deal with. Noone works there so you have to set up an appointment if you need them to be there. He also isnt the fastest for getting back to you when you need something. He also couldnt keep the billing straight when I used my bank for auto-bill pay so I had to talk to them every month to clarify the money issues.
