Inspired by a desire to create beautifully constructed clothes, rag & bone prides itself in the time-honored techniques of supremely skilled, local manufacturers at some of the oldest factories in the country. The importance of quality, expert craftsmanship and attention to detail resonated deeply, informing the brand's core philosophy.
With a downtown sensibility, signature clean silhouettes and an inherent integrity, rag & bone continuously redefines urban style.
Very bad vibe walking into this rag & bone store in Greenwich. An older lady who worked there clearly saw me walk in and literally said nothing to me at all. She looked right at me and turned her back to walk in the back. There was a gentleman who worked there too and he could have at least said hello. I couldn’t walk out of there fast enough. Extremely disappointing experience.

Went in on Saturday evening looking for a pair on jeans. I left with a whole new wardrobe. Angela was so amazing. Very helpful and you could tell that she loves her job. Will definitely be back in the spring for some summer outfits.

I used to go to the West Village Rag & Bone, but now I’m a lot closer to Greenwich.
I love Rag and Bone and I wear their Knit TShirts, Chinos, jackets, and sweaters & probably spent $1200-$1500 between online and store shopping last year.
I also had on several occasions been helped by Angela, who is super helpful and always looks for a discount for me.
It grieves me to report that I was in the Greenwich store twice in the last few months and this is likely a result of NOT Seeing Angela on the floor when I went in, but on both occasions I had not great interactions with other staff there. A young guy named Jamar on both occasions helped me and seemed tremendously impatient, dictatorial, and humorless. When I asked to try on clothes he impatiently grabbed them and put them in back, as if I’d run off with them.He also seemed unwilling to answer any questions about sale items. The real problem was when I purchased 5 items he plain refused to return the one item I brought back and instead insisted, after we checked out, that we stand and wait until another staff member was free to process our return. We waited another 5-10 minutes for a young woman to be free and she completed this transaction without giving us any kind of receipt. ( I asked for the total and she actually rolled her eyes and said “ I can’t remember off the top of my head” , got it, and stalked off).My guess is he didn’t want his sales total for the day to be impacted by the return , and she was upset because she had to do his job - I don’t blame her. A really bad customer experience for me in my favorite clothing store - not good.

I walked in during my lunch break to get some casual clothes for the summer. The store was nearly empty and the sales people were talking and laughing loudly to each other. After about 5 minutes of browsing, I left because no one offered to help me. I walk down the street to Polo and they were very attentive and I bought there.
