Overall a great experience. Clear and transparent pricing. great communication, and, most importantly to us, they took extra effort to route the system to a place that doesnt stand out. Would absolutely recommend Ron and his team. All of them were great.

Pros: the team that installed the sump pump cover did a really good job. Cons: They wanted to come into our house and install the system without us being there. I thought that was weird and unprofessional. But that was just the beginning of weird and unprofessional. They emailed us the follow up report from someone else's test, twice; they just changed the address and then said it was ours. I know because I talked to the other household and we compared them. So we did our own follow up tests, at our own expense. They did not install a fan strong enough to get our levels below 2 on the first go and then Ron was an a-hole about putting in a bigger fan, telling me that our levels were so low (the levels of the other household). Ron talks in circles and at one point when I was trying to understand what fan they were going to now use, Ron said to me, "You don't need to know about the fan!" Excuse me? They did come out and installed a bigger fan, one that had an obvious chatter in the motor. It was recognizable right away, so obviously they didn't care. The AGM company recommended that I disconnect the fan and let anything out that might have gotten pulled into it; I did that and the chatter was still present. I was done with them at that point, I called the AGM company myself and got a consult about what fan is actually right for our house based on the subsoil, the meter readings, etc. They told me that we needed the fan that was more expensive and contractors sometimes don't want to put it in because they're cheap. Mind you, we'd paid Radon Ron for the "larger fan" price already. Anyway, we got the new fan at our own expense, installed it ourselves. Now there's no chatter, and it's noticeably quieter than the one they installed, even though the decibel rating is suppose to be higher. It's also creating more suction and the AGM guy said it should lower our radon levels more, which was the whole point of this anyway. Too bad Radon Ron didn't install the proper fan in the beginning. What a hassle and extra expense for us. I cannot recommend this company at all. Our experience was terrible. I would not trust them one bit to do things right and be able to keep track what they're doing. I think they're all about volume, not quality.

Ron came out today to assess a radon installed by someone else that wasn’t working properly. He offered his knowledge to fix the problem! What was amazing he didn’t charge me for his time or how to have it run properly. I had met one of his workers on a job previously where I had been working on and said, give Ron a call. Ron was too kind. There’s a professional building relationships! Highly recommend his company and what he stands for. Be careful of these big franchises lurking around.
