How long will new asphalt last?
If properly installed and with good quality asphalt, projects can last about 15-20 years. Asphalt that is maintained well enough can last up to 30 years.
How do I maintain my asphalt?
Professional maintenance is the best way to go. There are plenty of products available to do it yourself, but if done wrong, these can actually cause damage.
Is there anything I need to do after the paving is done?
The only thing to do is to avoid driving on the new asphalt for at least 24 hours. Always try to keep up with maintenance to keep it looking great.

If your asphalt starts to look grey and has cracks and potholes, you should get the entire surface repaired.

Some possibilities could be poor quality asphalt, too thin in some areas, or drainage that weakens the base.
