This place is literally always packed with a line. Which although it is a downside it’s a sign of just how successful this venue is. Great location in design district - I like to come grab a smoothie then walk around the area. Seating is tight but it’s doable they have a lot of seats inside and also outside. As a downside even if you take things to go they still take 5% service fee tip automatically, but hey if you live in miami you’re used to these things! Great addition to the area

This location has such a wonderful atmosphere — from the R&B and coffee shop–style music to the bright, relaxed ambiance, it’s always full of good vibes and great energy. The food is a solid 10/10 — you really can’t go wrong with anything on the menu. My personal favorites are the Cali Chicken Sandwich, the Salmon Wrap (without edamame), and their cookies — all fresh, flavorful, and worth every penny.
The ginger shots are amazing and definitely worth trying if you need a boost. It is a little on the pricey side, and I don’t love the automatic service fee they add, but overall, it’s absolutely worth it for the quality and experience.
Hugo is the man — super attentive, quick, and friendly. He always remembers customers by name and greets you like family every day. I’ve been to several Pura Vida locations, and this one is by far my favorite. It’s always buzzing with people, good music, and positive energy.
I recently visited Pura Vida Miami, and it quickly became one of my favorite spots for a fresh, wholesome meal. From the moment I walked in, I loved the bright, airy vibe — it’s modern, inviting, and has that perfect balance of relaxed yet stylish Miami energy.
I ordered the açaí bowl and the avocado toast, and both were outstanding. The açaí bowl was refreshing, vibrant, and beautifully presented, with generous toppings that added the perfect mix of texture and flavor. The fruit was incredibly fresh, and the granola gave it a satisfying crunch. It felt nourishing without being heavy, exactly what I wanted on a warm Miami day.
The avocado toast was equally impressive — simple but elevated. The bread was perfectly toasted with a hearty, rustic feel, and the avocado was creamy, fresh, and seasoned just right. It wasn’t overly complicated, which I appreciated, but you could tell every ingredient was high quality.
What I loved most about Pura Vida is that everything feels thoughtfully prepared, from the food to the atmosphere. It’s the kind of place you can come for a quick breakfast, a healthy lunch, or just to relax with friends.
If you’re in Miami and looking for fresh, flavorful food that makes you feel good, Pura Vida is a must-visit.

the workers at this location are rude, mean, and entitled. i work next door so pura vida is usually one of my team’s go-tos, but i just had the most disappointing experience. a younger male employee made me leave because i was sitting at the break table in the back of the store on my lunch break. i wasn’t bothering anyone, and i’ve eaten with employees from other stores there before without issue. i even felt bad and kept to myself, taking a quick nap, but he actually woke me up saying he “couldn’t eat there because i was there.” it was confusing and humiliating, especially since i was the only person at the table. the whole interaction came off as personal and discriminatory, like he just didn’t want to share space with me. whether it was ignorance or homophobia, the tone was unnecessary and unprofessional. overall, an extremely upsetting and disappointing experience at a place i used to enjoy.
