  I cannot recommend Preston Day Law highly enough. My sister retained him to represent her in a child support/divorce decree modification case brought against her by her ex-husband. Her ex-husband had been dragging out this case in the legal system for over two years. During that time, we were unable to afford legal representation, and her ex-husband and his lawyer repeatedly used intimidation and scare tactics to try to get her to give in to all of his demands. She stood her ground and would not give in. Thank goodness. With a trial date quickly approaching, Preston took the case on with very little time to prepare. He went above and beyond, doing all the necessary due diligence—and then some. We were able to engage his services with a very reasonable retainer, and he managed it carefully, ensuring each dollar was well-spent. In court, he was extremely prepared, professional, and calm, presenting compelling arguments as to why this case should never have been brought to court in the first place. What sets Preston apart is his integrity, confidence without arrogance, and his ability to focus on the law rather than the heightened emotions that often accompany family law cases. Thanks to his expertise and dedication, my sister won her case.   I can’t say enough good things about Preston Day. I hired him pretty late in the process, and he immediately stepped in with confidence and responsiveness. He was honest and matter-of-fact, which really helped me manage my expectations and stay grounded during a stressful time.What stood out most to me was his presence in court—his trial experience and the way he presented himself made me feel like I was in very capable hands. He’s a straight shooter, intelligent, and respectful, not only with me but also with the other attorney involved.
