  Following recommendations, my husband and I decided to sit down with Joe and see what he could offer us in regards to financial planning. We have various work, personal and business investments between us and from the first visit, Joe couldn’t have been more welcoming, whilst remaining efficient and super-professional. Everything is explained very clearly and he’s helped us with various transactions and advising for our investments in order to fit our goals and retirement vision. Joe takes the time to make sure we understand every step of the process, and he is always more than happy to answer our questions. His service and ability is something you don't come across often these days: honesty, solid communication, and genuine friendliness. Simply put, he knows what he is doing and he does it well. Couldn’t recommend him enough!

  We started working with Joe a couple years ago. We were looking for somebody that was not only knowledgeable but willing to educate us on our financial plan and aligned with our values. Joe has been great to work with and has been very responsive whenever we have questions or need something!

  I was connected to Joe when I did a SmartVestor search on Dave Ramsey’s site. I had just changed jobs and needed financial advisement on what to do with a large pension payout. Being a Dave Ramsey disciple meant that I had a ton of questions for Joe before I would commit to partnering with him. He did a wonderful job patiently answering everything I threw at him. To get started, he did a complete financial health assessment for me and my husband. He met with us and took time to understand our short and long term financial goals as well as our risk appetite. The set up for both the pension and a self-managed 401(k) rollover from Vanguard was all handled by Joe and very easy for me to execute. Joe has been shepherding my investments for about 6 months now and I am very pleased with the results. At year-end, he made a point to meet with us to review our portfolio and discuss if anything needed to be changed. As part of this annual review, he also wanted to make sure we had all our estate planning in place and that all the accounts had proper beneficiaries. While he doesn’t manage the 529’s we have established, he does give me advice and insight on how to maximize them. This impresses me because Joe is taking a “whole-health” approach to our financial plan, not just what he is overseeing. He is also very knowledgeable about ways to capitalize on tax-favored strategies like how and when to move monies from a traditional to Roth IRA. Like any professional service, you want to have a high level of trust and confidence in who you hire. Joe has done an exceptional job of establishing both with me and I’m looking forward to that early retirement he’s gonna help me achieve.

  I have been working with Joe for the past two years and he is a top notch advisor. He’s a wealth of knowledge and has never tried to hard sell me on anything, which I liked from the beginning. He also made the process of setting up and transferring my funds a breeze, and maintains great communication by checking in with me. I highly recommend Joe Wilson!
