Like to say something nice about this lawn mower repair and sales shop, but no words can describe the poor quality of service and maximum charges for doing nothing. Misdiagnosed my machine and tried to buy it from me penny's on the dollar.I FEEL RIPPED OFF>BEWARE This is not the well know Porters with a Great reputation.

I have been going to Porter’s for more than 30 years. I would not think to go anywhere else for lawn and garden equipment and service. The staff is knowledgable, friendly and competent with a folksy, no nonsense style. I appreciate their honest approach and recommendations. They will fix it if they can and will return the used parts and explain the work that was done. I trust their judgment, and have experienced as well as observed the high value they place on customer service. Porter’s is a reputable, family-owned business, a fixture in Janesville, that is becoming rare it today’s business environment.
