Has ignored me on my health issues for months. They don't listen to me. As someone who has asthma.. this place intentionally only prescribes me medicine that I have stated does not work for me. Currently I am on my wedding honeymoon, and I am dying because I am forced to use this inhaler over 10 times a day because Northshore will not listen to me. The last female doctor I went to gave me major attitude for trying to ask for a specific inhaler. I showed her pictures and she continued to judge me belittle me. She told me I wasn't allowed to just ask for any inhaler and she gave me one that specifically doesn't work for me. Inhalers start with 180 puffs and within a week, I am already at 50. And yet, when I come back, y'all will also continue to complain at me and belittle me for using my inhaler too much, well.. yall don't listen to me when I SAY THIS INHALER DOES NOT WORK!! I also went in a couple weeks ago to get my glasses changed out. Upstairs, with the vision portion, you can find a heavy male who is lazy. Simply put. I had came in and waited to see the eye doctor. Afterwards, the doctor sat me at his little desk for him to help me get my new glasses. The entire time he tried to ignore/dismiss me, he tried shooing me back into the waiting room. He kept giving me dirty looks. His famale colleague had to come over and take me under her wing which literally only took a minute. I have found that Portage Northshore is toxic. They don't care about our health, at least not mine. Hopefully I'll find someone who actually listens about my asthma, and maybe ill find someone who won't try to force me into overdoses everyday. Portage Northshore, I hope to never walk through those doors again.

Only decent Pharmacy in Portage and they close at noon on saturday and dont open again til monday. This is a huge medical facility. Thousands of people come here every day. In 2025, seriously. But if I get my meds sent to CVS, Meijer, Walmart. Always out, always on back order, I even had CVS tell me "they were at their quota to give out that type of medicine." Northshore has been the only pharmacy to actually have all my medication.

Greetings, Dr. Scurto and staff were all great, as the doctor fully understands much of my, sometimes, dynamic Chicago to NYC and DC work/life "balance vs imbalance" lifestyle. Continuing to embrace and encourage a willingness to listen and learn are things that many of us can unintentionally take for granted when it comes to our very own physical and mental health. To be the very best we can be for ourselves means we will also be able to do more for those who matter most to us in life. Ps. Growing up in Northwest Indiana, I continue to keep my primary residence in Valparaiso, and Northshore Health Center(s) have always been my Family's primary care facilities. Cheers, Stephen/USNSWC :)

Honestly one of the worst offices i think ive been to. Dr's are always in a rush to get you in and out. Huffed and puffed at me throughout my entire 20 second chat with him where he wouldn't even let me get a word in, explain my symptoms, pain, family history. Beyond aggravating. Already switched all of my Dr's and am leaving northshore.

EXCELLENT SERVICE. I went to the insurance advisor for open enrollment. I wasn't sure which plan was best. She compared plans and found the one best suited for me. She was very personable and very honest and I appreciate honesty when conducting business more than anything.
