  Hired them years ago and they were great. Called July for a smaller job and estimate was good with a 1-4 week time frame. Called the end of week 3 to make sure we were on the schedule for next week; they showed up the next day to “give me an estimate for the work”. Got a call from the office 3 days later basically scolding me. Apparently I had confused her which is why she resent the crew for an estimate. I asked her why didn’t she call me if she was confused. I reiterated that I was confirming we were on the schedule for this week; because now it is week 4; and she said due to emergencies and severe weather the timeframe would move. But we had beautiful weather in the 70s for the last 2 1/2 weeks, I’m not sure what emergencies they’re referring to. We also had a contract, but apparently that doesn’t matter. I canceled the whole job.

  Poor Folks Tree did a big job for me large elm tree in a difficult spot . Brandon and his crew did a great job. Professional, polite, hard working, cleaned up after. A pleasure to work with. I asked for a couple of extras which I was happy to pay for and they accomplished it and the extra price was very reasonable. Overall, the price for the entire job with the extra amount was very reasonable and better than others, their price was right in line with others and very worth the cost to get the job done. Thank you Poor Folks Tree and you have my highest recommendation. Dealing with their lady in the office was also a pleasure and she was a joy to deal with. Well done. Highest recommendation.

  Do not use these jokers. Horrible waste of time. Claim they booked us for wrong day so pushed the schedule two weeks. We take off work and they keep putting us off for three days and do not even bother to communicate with us every day that they can’t make it. I keep calling and they keep saying they are going to come on the day scheduled. But the day ends and guess what? Another no call no show. Unbelievably unreliable and unprofessional. Then they show up the day after like oh hey we are here to do work. No thank you!! I would not recommend wasting your valuable time with these people. Chose another company. I’d give no stars if they would still let me post this.

  This company recently cut down my neighbors tree, they basically camped out on my driveway for a couple of days and chipped my walk way and driveway without so much as an apology or even asking if they could be all over my lawn and driveway. Extremely unprofessional company, they also did damage to my a couple of stones on my pathway to my bark yard and they just threw it in my flowerbed.
