Inspired by its Miami roots and a recipe for fresh 24-hour citrus marinated chicken, Pollo Tropical began offering guests across Florida a creative take on traditional Cuban dishes, as well as foods from other parts of Latin America, over 35 years ago.

The chicken always seasoned & grilled just right . The store is always super clean But the best is the staff which are awesome . There’s a young man named Erick who’s a Rock star. Great positive service with a smile and a great attitude. Today when took our order we noticed he was being congratulated for his Birthday by co workers . Even on his Birthday he’s working with an energy & great service that’s notable. Kudos to Erick & a super Birthday. He’s one of the biggest reasons why we keep coming back 🎉🎉🎉

This is the second time when the first window employee asks me to wait at 1st window without driving up to 2 window in drive thru even though there are no cars in front of me. The last time, I actually waited. This time I insisted that I was more comfortable just waiting for my order at the 2nd window. The employee (same guy on both occasions) was visibly bothered that I didn’t acquiesce. What was strange is that my order was ready as soon as I got the 2nd window. Is there some kind of internal competition that makes him want to delay the 2nd window person from fulfilling my order quickly?

However, I happened to be at this one today, and everything was different. The two people who served me today at the Drive Thru (the cashier and the server) said: “Hello, how are you?” “How is your day going?” I hope you enjoy your food!” I took a long time to respond because I was taken aback, I didn't know what to say, I wasn't prepared to answer such kind questions. So my food was indeed the most delicious tonight. Thank you!
