I don’t know why, but I don’t love the food in this specific location. I like Pollo Tropical in general.

Just got back from here and today that I'm disappointed would be an understatement. I came here for a free Veterans meal they give out every second Tuesday of the month. This was my first time going. A fellow veteran has been urging me to go, so I finally went. The place was pretty empty when I came in. I waited at the register for aput a minute before someone came to help me. First she get me a price until I said it to her again. Then, she did know how to put the code in, but told the them make the meal anyway whileshe figured it out. Because I was going to get a free meal, I decided to get a large drink. Here's where everything goes wrong. The drink cost $4. I paid it because I had to catch the bus back home and need something to drink. The food came very fast. So, I placed it inside of me backpack and heading to the restroom. The rest had only one toilet and it was occupied, so I walked out because my bus was coming. Just got home having sipped away my large drink I'm ready to eat now and when I opened my container, what I beheld was what I below to be the smallest price of chicken they could find. I understand that it was free, but show a veteran some love, please! This place was empty, so no need to save chicken for paying customers. I worked at Pollo TROPICAL and I've never cut a peice of meat this small. If I was paying I would be pissed! Just wish I had know because then I would have spent my $4 on another piece of chicken instead of on the drink which wasn't worth it. When life gives you lemon... So, I've just ended up put the chicken into the rice and making myself another meal. Hopefully, I'll have a better experience next month.
