I have had HVAC issues for going on 3 YEARS. It's out again, I submitted a maintenance request and it was marked as complete after all they did was put in a window unit. Called a few days later and they said they would come by, nobody did. Called the next day and someone came into my apartment while I was at work and didn't fix it. Called once more and they messed around with the thermostat and again said it was "fixed".

I’ve called the office twice inquiring about new, multiple water charges just now appearing on my monthly rental bill. No response. $84+ for a monthly water bill is insane.

My biggest apartment pet peeve is unscheduled maintenance work. They give long ranges of somewhere in the next 20 days maintenance will be coming which makes it impossible to plan when to be at home to make sure my cat doesn’t run out of the apartment. In the past my A/C went out and it was out for 10+ days and the lady at the front desk seemed angry I was even calling about it. Other than that the community is nice and so is the unit. They try to make fun events for residents every Thursday.

I have lived here going on 3 years. I always had fast and efficient maintenance service when requested. Since the new ownership, things are slipping. The office is never open at 10:00 like they say. I had a clogged toilet recently for 6 DAYS. With only one bathroom, they did not prioritize this whatsoever. They said they needed a vendor. Never in all the time I’ve lived here has that been done. Then they blamed it on putting cat litter in the toilet! I have an automated litter box and cat litter has NEVER been put in the toilet. I’m disappointed by the dishonesty and needing to make up a story to justify why they didn’t get the job done before six days of this madness.

Has another comment recorded here of the additional fees we are getting under new management. I’ve never seen a landlord create three separate water-related charges and split them up in confusing ways. Before, I paid a simple flat rate every month. Now, they’ve added fluctuating “wastewater charges” and “water charges” on top of rent, calculated with some vague formula about square footage and occupancy. This feels like nickel-and-diming tenants with hidden fees. Rent should be stable and predictable — not a mystery bill that changes every month because of arbitrary add-ons. If you want to raise rent, be upfront about it, but don’t disguise it as “water charges.” FYI, second lease term here. Now I am averaging paying $70 more a month depending on the hidden or “variable” fees associated with rent.
