It’s not often you see a business with a 5-star rating, but after visiting Pointe 183 Animal Hospital and witnessing the level of love and care they provide, I completely understand why. It’s never easy when your fur babies are sick, injured, or have to stay overnight away from home. However, the incredible staff at Pointe 183 makes the experience so much easier. They keep you updated every step of the way and even accommodate visiting hours so you can see your pet while they’re under their care. Everything about our experience was top-notch, and we’ll be recommending this wonderful vet office to everyone in the area!

We had such a wonderful experience at this vet hospital! The doctors and staff are incredibly kind, friendly, and genuinely caring. They are great listeners and took the time to understand our dog Leo’s needs in detail. Leo was recently neutered here, and the care he received was exceptional and gentle, professional, and full of love. The best part is how affordable their services are without compromising quality. They are always available to answer our questions over the phone, which gives us so much peace of mind. We’re so grateful for their support and the comfort they provide to both pets and owners. Highly recommend this place to anyone looking for compassionate and reliable veterinary care. Our dog Leo actually loves coming here! 🐶💙

Everything was great from the front office to the tech and doctor! All the staff was very kind, and no long wait time. It was very easy to get in on a day that worked best with my schedule as well.

Unfortunately, we had to bring our old dog to be put down and this staff was A+ with their kindness they showed to our dog and us. When we came back to pick up his paw print the entire staff signed a card with really kind and thoughtful words. Even though it was a sad reason to have to go to the vet, this staff made the entire experience amazing! I highly recommend them!

I in appointment for wellness check. I’m excited. I received discount 25$ for my first appointment. I didn’t wait. Everything was quick and professional. Very clean space. Nice and smart staff, pain attention to each detail. Definitely recommend

Frequently Asked Questions About Pointe 183 Animal Hospital & Urgent Care

My pet ate something they weren't supposed to. What should I do?

Inducing vomiting in pets may seem like a quick solution when they ingest foreign objects, but it can sometimes be dangerous. This procedure can lead to trauma or irritation of the esophagus, especially if the ingested material is sharp or includes hazardous items like batteries. It’s crucial to consult your veterinarian immediately if your pet consumes a foreign object. In many cases, we can safely induce vomiting using injectable medication, minimizing the risk of complications such as stomach ulcers. However, there are situations where surgical intervention may be necessary to remove the foreign object. Always prioritize your pet's safety by seeking professional guidance in these scenarios.

Why do you recommend dental cleanings so often?

Dental cleanings are essential for maintaining your pet's overall health and well-being. Starting annual cleanings at a young adult age can significantly help prevent serious medical issues related to dental disease, such as infections and organ damage. Regular dental care not only keeps your pet’s teeth and gums healthy but also saves you money in the long run. By addressing dental issues early, we can avoid complicated and costly extractions down the line. Invest in your pet's health today with routine dental cleanings and ensure they enjoy a happy, healthy life for years to come!
