The Pohanka Automotive Group is one of the oldest automobile dealerships in the nation. Frank S. Pohanka was born in the Bronx in New York City. He ran away from home in his eighth-grade year and found a job on a horse farm on Long Island. It wasn't long before this stable boy became a successful jockey, racing horses throughout North America. Eventually, he could not 'keep weight' and then was faced with what to do with the rest of his life.In 1919 Frank Pohanka opened his first dealership at Ward Place, in N.W. Washington DC, where he sold and serviced Chevrolets. - SSSbn SbnSep 9, 20251.0Review: I visited the Frx DSL Arbouger branch looking for a spare tire for my Chrysler, and it was a very disappointing experience. The staff who assisted me were completely unhelpful and showed no interest in customer service. Even though the spare tire was available and suitable for my car, they refused to provide it. I am extremely disappointed with their professionalism and treatment. I strongly advise caution when dealing with this branch.

He was really just amazing. The manager, John, was very helpful and shared experienced insight. They were extremely patient with me until I found the truck I was in love with. I couldn’t be happier unless you gave me the truck for free. All of the staff was kind and attentive even when I wasn’t working with them directly. Sydney did a really thorough job explaining all of my benefits and options all while being understanding and patient. Even the young man in the service department had useful insights that helped me decide on my purchase. I think you have a strong, well rounded team at Pohanka Dodge Jeep and Ram. Nobody tried to cut throat. I shopped around a few dealerships before feeling completely comfortable at this one. I would highly recommend a friend or family member to shop at Pohanka D,J, & Ram. I wish I could give the same praise to your Ford dealer across the street. I actually set out to buy a Ford. I’m kind of glad they pushed me to exploring other options. Obviously, I can’t give enough praise to the staff at Pohanka Dodge, Jeep, and Ram! Thank you so much!!
