  Unfortunately, we did not have a good experience with the Annapolis location. I took my dog there twice—first for a half day for her temperament test, and then for a full day a couple of days later. Unfortunately, this ended with a $500 vet bill because my dog got sick. I called to ask if there had been any sick dogs at the facility or if they had fed her anything unusual. The person I spoke to told me my dog was fine all day and that they didn’t notice anything—but they never asked for my name or my dog’s name, so they had no idea who they were talking about. Yet somehow, they still assured me she was fine. Also, we were promised access to live cameras through the website, but that was never provided. They said we would receive photos and updates throughout the day. Both times, we only received a couple photos about an hour after drop-off, and in both, my dog looked scared and uncomfortable. We didn’t receive any kind of report after her full-day visit either. Overall, a very disappointing experience. We won’t be taking our dog back.

  Playful Pack in Annapolis cares about your pet! I adopted my dog earlier this year and she had anxiety whenever she was around other people or dogs. I was going out of town for work and needed to board her so I started testing some places out prior to my trip. Playful Pack was the ONLY place that requires your pet to stay at their facilities for a day to assess how they interact with the other dogs. Did I mention this observation day is free of charge?! Rather than make money, they want to ensure that your pet would be a good match here. Well, my dog was anxious during her observation day and drooled the whole time. At the end of the day, the staff suggested my pup stay in a private suite and they would gradually let her interact with the other dogs over time. The result? My pup gets happy when she sees other dogs now! Playful Pack has demonstrated to me over and over again that the well being of the pets in their care is priority. I HIGHLY recommend Playful Pack for your pets day care and overnight boarding.

  We had a great experience at Playful Pack with our babies Obi and Leia. The team was super nice and accommodating. They were helpful with questions. They took multiple pictures everyday and updated us at the end of the day on how they did, which we really appreciated. Thanks for taking good care of them!
