  Playful Pack McLean is my furbaby Harper’s favorite place! He considers them a second family, with Bekah treating him as her own. Harper has been going there for 4 years and gets super excited if I tell him “We’re going to see Bekah!” The activities (tunnels, disco day, story time, packachinos) keep him busy and engaged. We’ve seen many managers and staff come and go, but the current team under Bekah’s lead are by far superior. This is a major reason why I drive from Capitol Hill to McLean, even though there are a few closer! If you want a place where they will treat your furbaby as one of their own, this is worth the drive. Prices are reasonable. A wonderful location over all!

  We brought our dog to Playful Pack in McLean for the better part of three years, for both daycare and periodic boarding. I cannot more effusively recommend them and would give 6 stars out of 5 if I could - they were absolutely fantastic and the best doggy daycare we’ve ever had. They were attentive and affectionate toward our dog; we always felt comfortable leaving her in their hands in the way we would with family. They were professional, communicative, and accommodating; routinely going beyond our expectations. Their attentiveness showed both in their adapting their level of personal attention when our dog needed a little more (or less) doting (and/or reminders to share the toys with the other dogs), and in their response to when we unexpectedly had to travel and board our dog when she was still under a somewhat complicated, temporary medicine regimen. They seamlessly managed her nightly routine, and even sent us personal photo updates of how our our dog was doing to assuage our concerns in having to leave her behind. Their daily efforts to keep the dogs entertained and mentally engaged were effective and—based on the daily picture updates we received via email—often amusing. All told, the folks at Playful Pack McLean (especially Lester, Becca, and Lauren, but also more broadly the entire team) were wonderful. If we hadn’t had to move away, we’d still be bringing our dog there today. We feel confident she still misses her canine and human friends there. And we do too.

  Always welcoming, our dog is always happy to go into the McLean daycare and comes home tired. The staff I have seen interacting with dogs as they come and go seem very comfortable with all of them.

  I love this place! Our very energetic Springer Spaniel comes home exhausted. He runs into the building and is so happy. The staff are caring and kind and know us by name. I’d highly recommend playful pack!
