  The fact that an employee chased my 12 year old down to tell him to stay away from the window was unnecessary. If you don’t want the dogs to get excited when someone walks by or a car pulls up that either cover the windows or move the dogs to the back.

  I would never bring my dog here if I cared for it. Staff that seems disinterested in their jobs, sick dogs including a dog so clearly ill it was emaciated to the point you could see all of its ribs and joints. They need to be reported.

  Started taking our 2 1/2 year old bully breed rescue babe here about 7 months ago. She LOVES it. The team is welcoming of her crazy! We do half day sessions, once per week to ensure she gets her canine play time and ensure she stays social with other dogs as her siblings are all kitties. 95% of the team that works there is great. The one that I don't care for is more of a (personal) personality clash as I can't deal with the know it all attitude types. Our girl loves it. She gets pumped when we pull up and is conked out and happy, after her stay when we get home. Couple of things we learned that may help: You have to explicitly state you only want a half day (4 hours) to not be charged a full day at drop off time. You get a report card with images of the days activities, although there have been sessions (multiple) where this was missed. They offer a sign on special that includes free bonus days. Introduction day is free, and your pup can stay all day. If it's not a match, they would call for pick up and no charge for you. If you're signed up and refer a friend, you get 5 free days added to your account as a thank you. They used to have a live feed Webcam, which was, however, shut down. Sounds like someone with a lot of money and no life came after them citing some type of privacy rights of their dog. Soooo.... If your pup had a 'situation' they let you know. We appreciate that they understand them to be dogs, at the end of the day! They have 2 rooms, one for small to medium pups (front facing/street view) and one for medium to large dogs.

  PLAYFUL PACK ALEXANDRIA is the best place we found to bring our dog,, Esme, for daycare or boarding, and I like that they plan activities for the dogs. The prices are very reasonable for their services. I would definitely recommend PLAYFUL PACK to anyone who's looking for a good daycare or boarding facility. Esme gets wound up and excited when I mention we're going to go play with her friends. She seems to really like it there. When we first started bringing her, I liked the fact that we were able to check in on the webcam to see how she was doing throughout the day. Unfortunately, they don't have the webcam anymore. I really wish and hope they can find a way to get the Webcam back. The one thing I would suggest is that when you do have a lot of dogs in the room, that there would be two people in there to watch the dogs. I know the staff does their best they can, but an extra set of eyes in a room when there a lot of dogs would be most helpful. You can tell the staff really seem to love working with the dogs. I especially like the way they interact and engage the dogs in activities. I am definitely at ease when I drop our dog off because I know she's in good hands.
