First Timer here. I would have given a five-star, however, we sent the firecracker wings back. We did not enjoy it as much as the ‘Bang Bang Broccoli. Overall, wonderful restaurant. Clean establishment. Thank you and continued growth and success 💫

UNBELIEVABLY fire. The first bite of the beef and broccoli shook me to my core and I went to check my doordash receipt before I remembered it’s an all-vegan restaurant. I will be doing everything I can to try (and certainly fail) to recreate this at home before I visit DC again. The Volcano Roll and, even better, the Dragon Roll, were both delightful. Cannot recommend highly enough. Go if you are anywhere nearby.

I recently dined at Planta, and while the food and ambiance were great, what truly stood out to me was the leadership and dedication I witnessed from the management team specifically Ronnie and Sarah. From the moment we were seated, I noticed Ronnie, who I believe is the manager, moving throughout the restaurant with a level of purpose and care that was unmatched. He was everywhere, serving food, helping behind the bar, checking on tables that weren’t even his, and making sure the entire space was running smoothly. It was clear he was doing far more than what’s expected, and yet he did it all with a calm and professional demeanor. An incident occurred with our food involving an allergy, and Ronnie immediately stepped in. His apology was genuine, and he took immediate action to ensure the issue was handled thoroughly and respectfully. Shortly after, Sarah; another manager, came in and, although she wasn’t present during the initial issue, she still took the time to personally address it. She offered another sincere apology, made sure everything was safe moving forward. Both Ronnie and Sarah went above and beyond, not just for us, but for everyone in the restaurant. It’s rare to see managers so hands-on: seating guests, serving, bussing tables, checking in with their team, and ensuring guests feel taken care of,all with a smile. This type of leadership is not only rare, but it’s also the kind that builds strong teams and lasting customer loyalty. Their commitment deserves to be acknowledged in more ways than one. Thank you both for turning a hiccup into a moment of genuine hospitality and care.
