  My husband and I had our anniversary dinner here last night and it was seriously one of the best date nights we had. Allllll of the staff were so sweet. Especially our server, Katie. They all signed an anniversary card for us and covered a dessert for us as well. The atmosphere is just perfect for a laid back date night. The music is good, the drinks are so good, and the food is spectacular.

  A great seafood spot in an outstanding location. Highly recommend trying their ceviche and other dishes that lean into their fish oriented cuisine. The miso salad was also a spectacular and fresh way to start the meal, if you enjoy salads at all definitely try it. Overall, the portions were generous and the food was delicious- with sauces that elevated the meal. Great spot to have a meal then walk around the area for a while after.

  Was in town visiting my brother and we grabbed a last min 530 reservation so we could enjoy a nice dinner. All the food was delicious. The ceviche was extremely fresh and tangy and the Salmon filet on my salad was incredibly juicy. Besides the great food, what was more impressive was the Happy Hour deals. We got 3 apps and 3 entries basic fountain drinks and our bill was $135. It was a steal. The atmosphere was also great, not too loud but still vibrant.

  Coastal hour is perfect. Oysters are some of the best in town and the redfish ceviche is a perfect dish. Amazing flavor and balance. Very different from your normal ceviche, the black garlic takes it to the next level. Bonus, absolute best espresso martini.

  My husband and I are regular patrons of clear fork restaurants and had not yet tried Plank. It was our anniversary and my husband knows how much I love seafood so he booked a reservation for us. The restaurant has a nice ambiance but for 7 on a Saturday night they weren’t busy, which should have been a sign. Our waitress was very friendly and explained the menu and daily menu as well. We had soft drinks and ordered the crab dip, which was mostly cheese. I ordered the grilled salmon and it said it came with mushroom risotto and brussel sprouts. The salmon was cooked fine and the risotto was not creamy like it should have been. It was clearly made with water and was edible, but not good. The brussel leaves were incorporated in the risotto, not actual brussel sprouts as a side. My husband had the fried shrimp. The shrimp were far too large, hard and not tender. The fries were good and slaw had a weird taste, almost like it was made with buttermilk and slightly sour. We had to wait on a refill of his drink longer than we should have. Our waitress did comp the crab dip since we didn’t get dessert or alcohol, which was nice of her. Overall I am giving 2 stars for ambiance and service, otherwise the food is not better than red lobster and costs significantly more than the quality of the food that was offered. I am all about paying great money for a quality meal, but this wasn’t it and we won’t be back.
