  Coworker and I joined gym to start our new health journey of getting our bodies in better shape. Great workout on first visit! Upon arrival Rep at front desk was extremely friendly and knowledgeable in helping us to understand membership and priveleges.

  The Belmont, NC PF on Park is doing a GREAT job. When I first walked-in the two people at the desk greeted me with a pleasant few and natural words. Neither dove to the scanner to push the green button (creepy mechanical unwelcoming practice of some locations), trusting the beep they heard when you scanned-in. The temperature and music volume were comfortable. No one was yelling to the person next to them. The one aspect that was far and away the BEST of any PF in the Charlotte, NC Metro area was the cleanliness and true sanitation of the locker room, showers, and changing area. There were no hair balls, uses bandages, soap scum and other bio build-up in the showers. There were chairs and hooks in the changing rooms. The toilettes didn’t have the previous people’s remains spattered in them. The sinks were sparkling clean and the counter tops were as clean and dry as in your own home. The place looked and felt clean. This is the Achilles heal of Freedom, University, and Matthews. It’s always frightening to imagine your bare skin touching any surface in the showers or changing areas in any of those three worst of the worst for PFs for sanitation. The only thing the young person cleaning the locker room in Belmont went short on was making one quick path “so I can tell my boss I did it” (his words verbatim to a young member while I was changing) of the floor cleaning machine. It seemed a shame that all the good work he did was diminished by making one path in the middle of the room and not going over the entire floor. What a shame to take a hit on flawless sanitation with this one careless act. Kudos to Belmont PF for really being the best I have witnessed in Charlotte in the past 4 months. THANK YOU

  Horrible, nasty bathroom/showers. Nowhere to set your things while showering either. I just joined and came in today to workout. I went to check the bathroom/shower/lockers and all I can say is YUK!!! I WANT A REFUND🤬 Walked right back out.

  Its a good gym minus the fact that they use a blower instead of a vacuum when they clean the gym during operating hours. It creates a dusty mess each time that gym goers have to sneeze and cough through to get in a workout. 🤕 🤧

  Terrible, terrible customer service. Stay away from the old grumpy lady employee. She came and picked on me for what I wear and threatened to call the police on me when I said I will make a corporate complaint. Been to 50+ PF locations, wore the same outfit, never experienced this. This was surreal.
