However, the staff could be more courteous when enforcing their ID photo policy, especially since my home Planet Fitness location hasn’t required one. They also made my guest take a photo, which felt unnecessary and uncomfortable. The whole situation felt forced and made for an extremely uncomfortable experience in the facility, to the point where we decided to cut our workout short and leave. In all my time as a member, not having a photo on file for myself or my guests has never been an issue, so the sudden and inconsistent enforcement of this policy was frustrating. If this policy is indeed consistent across all locations, friendlier ways to enforce it would be appreciated, or allowing my home gym to handle it when I returned there would have been much more appropriate. Unfortunately, I don’t plan on returning and would recommend checking out other PF locations for a better experience.
