Been a member since March ‘21. The gym’s very close to home; hours have always suited my schedule. My daily workout is from 6-8 am 5-6 days a week, so a decent volume of folks getting it in before work. While “busy”, the place is not overwhelmed with members at that hour. Adequate equipment for my needs which include resistance and cardio. I have the basic membership and don’t even use the showers. What’s become apparent is the gym’s focus on cleanliness (floors, machines, supply of paper towels and cleaning solutions). This requires a lot of time—particularly keeping the equipment dusted. The supervisor, Regean, who’s been working there, I believe, since I enrolled, does a bang up job of keeping the place looking smart, while attending to other membership needs, all the while projecting a friendly, welcoming as well as professional approach to his role. He seems to have become one of the very few staff that has longevity at this location. You can’t overstate the importance of hiring and retaining staff that provide continuing and consistency. Yea, under $20/mo is way past being a bargain, but as someone who’s been going to gyms for decades, the overall value proposition at PF, and particularly this location is outstanding. Do what you can to retain a guy like Regean. He’s a critical part of the formula. KB
