    4 stars are for the staff, doing the best they can with what they have... Question for Area Manager or Corporate...Why is it that Corporate decides what channels are on in our gym? You only have 5 tv's in the Lewiston PF? "5" ! I dont think home office people come to this gym do they? Isnt this a little overboard in controlling don't you think? You don't give Seniors much options either. I know I'm not the only one that notices this. Can't you make this a little better for all ?

    This is hands down the WORST Planet Fitness I’ve ever been to. They refused to allow me and my service animal inside, claiming my app “wouldn’t scan.” I’ve never had this issue at any other location. I even called my hometown Planet Fitness, and they said they’ve never heard of that problem either. As soon as I walked in, a female employee immediately snapped, “You can’t have a dog in here,” before even letting me scan. I explained that if they allowed me to check in, it would display all the service animal information tied to my membership. When the app didn’t scan right away, the assistant manager, Mark, started joking around with the female employees, saying, “Look, he can’t even scan in—just leave it to that,” while clearly noticing how hostile the employee was being toward me. Not only was that unprofessional, but as a female, his behavior and dismissiveness felt disrespectful and condescending. I’m a Black Card member, my account is active and freshly renewed, and the app clearly displayed today’s date. Even after learning from higher-ups that they legally cannot refuse a service animal, Mark continued to deny me entry, hiding behind a “system error.” This location needs serious retraining on ADA laws, professionalism, and basic respect. I will not only be posting this review but also filing an ADA complaint. If you’re a service dog handler or expect to be treated with dignity, I highly recommend avoiding this location.

    0/10 would not recommend! My daughter and her friends went to the new Planet Fitness for the first time today. While checking in, they were greeted with hostility and an uncalled-for attitude followed by accusations from the assistant manager, Mark (bald man with a beard) because one of their QR codes didn’t load fast enough. He insinuated that they were trying to “sneak in“ without paying. Not only did this make my daughter and her friends very uncomfortable, I am LIVID as a parent! RIDICULOUS, the regional manager will be contacted. Do better PF!

    The scanner would not work to scan my phone and the blonde female at the desk had a mouth full of food which was falling out and spraying myself and the counter as she demanded my phone so she could scan it herself, bit with complete sentences, but by saying "gimme your phone!". Maybe teach basic elementary manners to your staff. Like speaking kindly and not spitting food on guests. Hope that helps
