- TBTJ Burke2 days ago4.0Custom pizzas (including stuffed crust) on request. Not a large buffet, but normally something for everyone in my family at least. Their chicken breasts are some of the best I've had at a buffet. Salads are tasty. And don't forget your dessert pizza with a bit of ice cream before you leave. PS - My kiddos love the kid's door. And they eat free on Tuesdays.

Pizza Ranch makes it known that if you don't see the pizza you want, just ask. We did, because every pizza on the buffet had meat. We simply asked for a veggie. IT NEVER APPEARED!! After 30 minutes I asked a server where our requested pizza was and was assured "it was coming." 2 other pizzas came out of the kitchen, both loaded with more meat. After 45 minutes I called over another server and asked about our veggie pizza. Still "not ready." At that point we got up and headed for the register where I asked for a refund. The manager complied, but was obviously irritated. Why?? I asked why a non-meat pizza was not a standard item on the buffet. The answer was - its a waste of time. Interesting... Seeing as how the very veggie Prairie pizza is an advertised featured item, why is it not included in the standard buffet layout? The Pizza Ranch in Holland, just 25 miles away (my favorite PR location), tells me the Prairie is a very popular get on their buffet! I will say this: Pizza Ranch does make a great tasting pizza at a manageable $16 per person average. Just don't admit to being a vegetarian at this Grand Rapids location! You may be waiting a long time!
