  Took our girl scout troop here and it was delightful! They split the group in half and some girls groomed horses/took tour, while the others rode horses. They were handheld and the horses were gentle and kind! :)

  I took my Brownie Girl Scout troop (ages 7-8) to Pine Ridge Riding Center for an afternoon horse back riding lesson. They were extremely friendly. I was called the same day i sent in my inquiry from their website. They called the night before to confirm. When we got there the girls were fitted for helmets. They were shown how to saddle the horses and got to brush them. They were given a tour of the barn and farm. The highlight was the horseback riding. The girls loved every minute of it! We drove about an hour and a half and it was totally worth it. The staff was friendly, patient, extremely knowledgeable, and, above all, put the safety of the girls and the horses first. The girls are already asking when we can go back!

  We took our 4 year old and her little friend for their first experience riding and they had a wonderful, safe time. The teaching and care for our kids was above and beyond what we were expecting. We will be back!

  My daughter loved training at pine ridge so much that we decided to lease our first horse. The detail in training has been far superior than any other barns we've tried.
