  Visiting San Francisco for the day, I was nervous to find where to park for the day after hearing about frequent car break ins. With some research of parking in a monitored garage we chose Pier 39 since our main spot was going to be fisherman's wharf. Honestly we had no issues getting inside the garage , found parking on the first floor. Got our ticket( if you eat at fisherman's wharf they can give you a sticker on ticket for 10$ off parking) we parked for the day so it was max 50$ minus 10$ off which was a nice bonus. Perfect location, easy, no break in and no issue with staff.

  Always something to do out here! Shopping of course, food, pearl shops, tours by boat, bus, bike etc. And surrou ding museums

  This is a better parking garage for large SUVs. I struggle with some in the city. But, this one I can fit ok without much trouble. Make sure you lock up and make sure nothing is visible in your car.

  Not a wonderful experience, incredibly difficult to get into, median was in the way of the entrance coming from one side. very cramped and wasn't able to get out of parking spot because of inconsiderate driver behind me trying to wait for another spot, ended up having to pay an extra $10 because of the wait.
