I am writing to share feedback regarding a recent interaction with the Pickwick Village Mobile Home Park, main office, located in Port Orange, FL. Visit was to address an administrative issue related to a storage container and the passing of my mother in law who resided within the Pickwick Village community. Over the years, my mother in law often expressed dissatisfaction with certain office staff, describing interactions as rude and unhelpful. She felt office staff seemed to be unresponsive to one's needs and lacking professionalism. Upon, the sale of my mother in laws mobile home, we were contacted by our realtor and informed of a storage container that appeared to have been rented in connection with mobile home. I contacted the mobile home park main office to clarify situation. During the conversation, the representative was extremely rude and hesitant to answer any questions. In fact, when asked for the representatives name they hung up. Attempted call back with negative results. We drove to Pickwick Village main office to make contact and attempt to resolve issue. The staff members attitude we encountered appeared disproportionate to the situation. In fact, staff member seemed to be agitated by our presence. Staff member was not willing to resolve situation. Staff member implied we were not entitled to any information due not residing in community. Even though, we were the legal owner of mobile home upon my mother in laws passing. Due to staff members behavior and needing clarification in storage containers validity, we called the police. Upon police arrival, it was discovered that there was NO storage container in question and the issue appeared to be an administrative error on their part. During our initial interaction, staff member made NO attempt to provide clarity or any resolution regarding the erroneous claim of a storage container. This miscommunication caused confusion and frustration at a time that was already emotionally challenging following her passing. I urge and recommend management review and where appropriate reinforce customer standards within the main office to ensure respectful, empathetic and informative communication with residents and their family members can be made in the future.

I lived here for a few years. In that time, we had so many boil water noticed. The water lines were always breaking. The pool was closed at lot. the park was just not in good condition. People are unhappy and negative in general. There are many nice people that live in, they are just unhappy with lot rent and the lack of maintenance. The back pond is terrible and half empty. The club house has been closed and removed due to flooding. I would not move back.
