My name is Dr. Katie Smith and I own PetVet365 Florence in Florence, KY. We believe the perfect vet visit is one where science meets heart with a sprinkle or two of magic. That’s why my team is trained and certified to give your pet the very best Fear Free care (think: treats, belly rubs, snuggles). We also specifically designed our hospital to feel like home - no waiting rooms, cat-only suites, comfy couches, and more.
We offer the very best veterinary care for dogs and cats - general care, urgent care, laser therapy, acupuncture, immunotherapy, behavioral care, dental care, blood work, vaccinations, x-rays, surgery, physical therapy, and anything else your pet needs!
If I could give a negative star, I would. I brought in my cat due to not peeing and eating poorly and they went ahead and took him away from the room, which I thought they examined him there without me and my partner present. When they came back, they gave me an estimate in bloodwork, x-rays and stay options they wanted based on our answers about our cat"s abnormal behavior. It was going to be approximately 1500 dollars total.
We tried working out a payment plan, but it kept failing on our end multiple times and decided to leave in search of a cheaper option. We still had to pay 75 bucks for no care given to our pet.
We had left and got better care elsewhere and a different medical opinion that our cat was not suffering from a urine blockage but rather a viral infection with just checking his temperature. Something that I thought that the vet and vet tech here was checking when our cat was initially taken back. With our new vet, she walked us through all the new options for our cat to take and had way more affordable options.
If you do plan to come here, please be aware that when they do take your animal back, they might not even take him out of the carrier and just go based on the information you give them. Not the kind of care that I would want for my pet.

We came home from our vacation with our ginger cat weak, thin, not moving, peeing bloody urine on the concrete floor. It was a Sunday. Didn't have an appointment, having done business with PetVet a few years ago when our boxer went blind, I just knew they had to see him. Dr. Smith came right out, wisked him back and began her exam. I can't tell you how reassuring everyone was. I knew they were doing their best. Our ginger cat is recovering now. The care and empathy they had for us is "a pill a doctor can't bottle."

We could not be any happier than we are with our recent experience at PetVet365 in Florence, KY. We called for an emergency appointment on a Sunday and were seen within the hour. They explained all the necessary tests (including costs) upfront and treated our puppy quickly. The atmosphere was very nice and the doctor and support staff were extremely friendly, knowledgeable and great interacting with our scared puppy. I highly recommend this practice!!

On 7/17/22 I took my dog to PetVet365 because she became rather ill over the weekend and my regular vet was closed. Was easy to get an appointment and when I arrived they took me back right away to my own room with a couch and tv which was nice. The vet and tech came quickly and we got to chatting. I explain my dog is wheezing and lethargic. I mention her teeth and bad breath. Vet lifts her gum line says yea her teeth aren’t great and listens to her and takes her back for X-ray and bloodwork. She NEVER LOOKED INSIDE MY DOGS MOUTH. She decides it’s pneumonia gives my dog an antibiotic and off we go. They follow up next day and I say she has had no changes I mean I’m literally force feeding my best friend with a syringe because she won’t eat won’t really get up and they respond give it a few days. Well I try be patient and keep with her meds and syringe feeding her and a few days later I take her to my vet and say her teeth are bad and bad breath and first thing she does is look at her mouth and what ya know? A raging infection, the root cause of all her issues and two days later she gets 19 teeth removed and two days after that I get my puppy back to herself. So PetVet365 may be a nice place to bring a dog for vaccines but I would be VERY WARY OF BRINGING UR SICK PET THERE. The staff does not fully examine animals. Isn’t a dogs teeth a cause of many issues? Should be easily one of the first things to check on a sick dog. Especially when the owner herself even mentions it. Then to top it off they sent me a bill for $451 afterwards cause I cancelled my wellness plan. So I was robbed of over $700 for a misdiagnosis that almost KILLED MY BEST FRIEND. I will be haunted for life, and they should be ashamed of themselves.
