I had the most wonderful experience yesterday afternoon at the Petitti Garden Center in Bainbridge. Kristin was extremely knowledgeable and helpful. Even though this location didn't have a particular plant I was looking for, they had plenty of beautiful alternatives to consider. I told Kristin what kind of plants I like and she proceeded to take me around the plants and point out the ones that would be ideal for what I had in mind. It was an awesome way to learn about all the plants and new varieties I had never heard of before. She has a great personality and is very well educated on plants. She knows her stuff! It was an awesome experience. I will definitely return to this location again!

I just love coming here.I love the selection.I love how healthy the plants are. I buy a lot of gifts for people here and not just plants
I just returned three perennial plants - (Eupatorium 'Gateway') I purchased August of 2023. The plants are NOT the correct cultivar, the flowerhead size was 6 inches instead of the 12 plus inches they should be. Your Oakwood employee Stella did a great job refunding my original purchase, and had to endure my crappy attitude telling her I wanted my money back. The owners should be embarrassed about the ridiculous labeling of their plant products!!! From working in the greenhouse industry (wholesale) I know what a pain it is to accurately label plants, the labels are expensive and add extra money to the production cost. However, customers DO read labels!!! Your Eupatorium 'Gateway' label states a final plant height of 24" to 36 inches. The real plant height is 60 to 72 inches plus! How can such an error make its way to a final product? Because Angelo and his little son AJ don't care, and think they can sneak it by, that customers won't notice!
Obviously Petitti can't change their labeling issue because they sneak it by and not enough customers care to complain. The management of Petitti's is too lazy and cheap to properly label plants because that would mean they might have to correct a process and hire, pay and respect an employee to do the right thing. And that would cost more overhead expense and make more work! You're shooting yourself and the horticulture industry in the foot by turning off customers. Maybe you ought to review what Australian garden centers do, they label products clearly at great cost, but have reduced stress on their employees handling complaints. Bremec garden centers are taking your customers, they actually "care" more than you do!
