  Overall good food, chopped brisket and pulled pork could have used a bit more flavor like a little rubbed tossed in, needed a litte salt. Portions were very good for the price. Only let down w a place making sides from scratch they are serving prebattered frozen onion rings, that's was a disappointment. Get there early as they run out of certain items like Turkey and chicken early, we were there at 1245 and they were already out of 3 items.

  I had a slamburger yesterday and it was everything I’ve ever dreamed of and wanted in a burger my entire life 🤤 when I say I want a hot juicy burger…… that was it. I burned my tongue and I didn’t even care. I will be returning today! Not only that but the first time we visited, I’m pretty sure I got a pulled pork loaded mac and cheese — I genuinely don’t remember what I ordered but it was freaking sublime and I smashed every bite. My husband still talks about the cuban sandwich from that trip too. Yesterday we also got the 3 meat tray with chicken, pulled pork, and the moist brisket plus coleslaw and mac (of course). Once again, it was to die for. So juicy and tender, husband really enjoyed the chicken (bc he’s trying to behave with his food intake) and my 5yo commandeered the coleslaw for his own and ate the whole dang thing. We were all able to eat to satisfaction and it was honestly such a value compared to eating out at other local and franchise restaurants. Yesterday by the grace of God alone we managed to resist the urge to buy the quart sized banana pudding which we had also bought on our first visit…… unreal. We may not have the same tenacity to resist it today and honestly whatever happens happens 😌😌😌😌 thank you guys! Such great food and I love to support a family business that obviously puts so much care into their craft. See you soon!! 🤤🔥

  I have wanted to try Pepper & Salt for some time now but my schedule and theirs just didn't seem to work out. Finally it did. I'm so glad it did. First of all the owner greeted us and asked if we had been there before. We said it was our first time so he kindly went over the menu with us. Cut our orders fresh from the brisket, ribs, and pork belly. Everyone there was super friendly. Just walking in the door you could almost taste the flavor in the air! Actually tasting it did not disappoint. The rub on their meats stands out on its own but paired with such perfectly smoked meats it's a culinary pleasure. The brisket was oozing with juices and full of flavor. He even cut me some of the burnt ends. The pork belly was the perfect blend of fat and meat that makes me the happiest of campers. The Ribs, oh how the just pull off the bone just right! I swear there's no paid advertisement here. It was just that good. I could go on but will save it for my next visit. Oh and I even had some to take home which is the only picture I took because I started eating without pausing for pictures.

  I can’t drive by without having to stop for some brisket, smells so good & tastes even better. Everything I have tried has been delicious! Best bbq in Vero. Friendly staff & quick service.
