Hi, I'm Warren. After today's events I just had to resort to this because I know how reviews work. And on a business level as a professional employee I figured I took the appropriate steps as most business issues would be properly handled. First I have the proper staff the chance to resolve any HR problems. Well between my main office which is Myrtle Beach and the other involved, the Wilmington People Ready Office I d actually shocked that I got absolute zero employee care. They care about the customer every minute but if the employee has a legitimate dispute all I got was the oh well who cares attitude. So what happened. How jobs work is thru their app. Pretty simple. Any available jobs will show on the search section. Enjoy then can review details and hit the tab to take it. Has all details for that employee. Description, contact on site, address, and a start time. One detail is it will also show which office branch it's listed from. And please know other branches will not see a job you close from another branch but still allowed. And the employees job is too arrive at site below start time. Once arrived up to an hour prior they will clock an arrived botton that informs the branch that you are on site and ready to work. So I took a job ticket yesterday for 11am start time which for me being in Myrtle Beach was close to an hour drive. I arrived on site at 10:45. Well when I go into work app the job ticket is gone. So I can't even clock on an arrived button. Very confused I call the Wilmington branch. Daniel answered which is the branch head. I explain the confusion. Daniel tells me that yeah we called your phone like 9am and you didn't answer so we took you off it. Wow I said I'm here on time.. to find out we don't do that at MB office. I bet you can ask any of our MB guys and they would be dumbfounded.. so because I didn't answer a call over two hours before I'm required to be there it's my problem as in I didn't do my duties.. which there is no policy anywhere that employees should all know of them doing this.. so I say do you realize it was an hour drive for me in a v8 pickup btw. And to add to it. I'm on site as we speak. Wasn't a situation where a replacement was already on site which meant I can still do job customer booked which number 1 customer is taken care of and he tells me oh we moved it to another time. And I got no sense of any consideration of things like maybe let's get you some gas money because in reality. I did nothing wrong.. I'll tell you exactly what they do. Yes there's a few employees that make the company look bad and be on a ticket and be a no show but hey happens to every company in the USA and I bet there's none that don't call employees 2 hours before a start time and it become your dime and loss if you don't answer. And they can call and ask my staff in MB and see for months they will tell you I've never been even a sec lat on any ticket. Heck even have one customer that turned a one day ticket into 3 days because he likes me. Then I attempted to call corporate office in Washington and left 2 voicemails and no reply all day. Hmm loving the employee care. But let's say a customer orders a few employees for certain day. If let's say the truck target to unload never shows.. company is still billing them for employees they ordered, absolutely. That's like you working a company for let's say 20 years and you get promoted to a different department.. well new week you get to work an hour drive and get informed, oh your dept supervisor called you hours ago and you didn't answer so you can leave. Really.. well guess what.. I'll give it tomorrow to see if corporate does return a call I won't hold my breath. If not I'm going straight to the magistrate and filing suit. According to any employee book or section I as an employee did my job and instead of simple gas offer they will now pay my wage as intended. Def don't feel I'm being one of those sore employees.. I feel totally wronged and then made to be my fault. And if needed calling labor board and BBB
