  I went online to the website to reserve a truck this morning at 6 AM. It specifically said the truck was available in West Chicago and I made the whole reservation, put in my credit card all of my information. Then I get a phone call at 8 AM saying the truck is not available. The reservation system is completely different, they need to go to Chicago pick up a truck for me and I will have it in five hours. This is the most unreliable worst customer service I’ve ever seen in my life. I have people waiting to help me load items because I knew I was ready at 10 AM and then I find out I won’t have the truck until 3 PM. What is the point of having a reservation service Penske????

  They messed up and if I hadn’t checked would have pocketed my $150 deposit. I rented a van on Saturday and the check in process was quick and efficient (so I thought) but the guy put down that the truck had a full tank and it only had less than a quarter. This was also annoying because I had to tank up just to get to my destination, and again to match the fuel it had when I got it as I was returning. I was even saying to myself how stupid it is to only have less than a quarter tank. I called and Kristin cleared it up for me but said my refund will take 7-10 days now. My intention was to write a good review because my previous experiences renting Uhauls has been miserable and this was great (so I thought). Truck was clean and everything worked great but the errors ruined my experience. I’d expect a bit more restitution but all I get is my original deposit which I had to call to clear up.

  I do not recommend this place for any kind of business! No matter is it service of truck or rental. If i could i would give it zero star
