- NBNicholas BliekSep 8, 20251.0I purchased a used car from Peake in March 2025, with 40K miles on it. The car ran fine for about two months, but then it wouldn't start. After investigating, I discovered that the roof drain for the sunroof was disconnected, causing water to leak under the seat and damage the fuse box. This was discovered by a reputable shop, as Peake’s customer service was terrible. Peake did everything they could to avoid helping, even telling me I had to go through insurance for repairs. After a lot of back-and-forth, and with the support of the other shop, we were on the verge of getting our money back after being without a vehicle for almost two months. However, when I went in to sign the buyback paperwork, they still tried to shortchange me on the refund. Stay away from Peake. They will lie, make excuses, and try to cheat you out of every dollar. Their customer service and management need major improvements.
