Paul D'Orazio Custom Upholstery reupholstered my sofa in the Fall of 2022. It was a beautiful and expensive custom piece from the Orleans Collection from Pompanoosuc Mills that was cherished and loved. Below is a description of the problems when the sofa was delivered: Fabric problems: strip of trim missing, uneven trim, multiple glue drips, glue stains and some spots missing glue, staples popped out, strings hanging, previous fabric showing in spots and fabric has bumps, pulls and wrinkles. Problems with wood trim: original tung oil finish destroyed as they tried to touch up/buff their damage and they added a shiny varnish, huge scars along edges from removing staples, several chips and dents, multiple scratches, countless hanging splinters in wood along a 6 foot trim piece, unsightly wooden plugs inserted. Problems with frame: wobbly, creaky, and unstable. Problems with seat cushion: squared off which completely changed shape of sofa. Springs removed and replaced with hard rigid foam that feels like sitting on plywood.I communicated my concerns. They said they would fix it. I requested a description of how they would repair all the damage and no one has an answer.
