When is a pond not really a pond? When it's a 749-acre lake! At Patten Pond RV Resort, you can pick a site with a spectacular water view, a spacious pull-thru, a cabin or cottage right on the lake or a lodge apartment. Then, right from this very RV park in Maine, you can canoe, fish, swim, boat, or just relax and watch the loons from our peaceful and private beach. No matter what your interests, Patten Pond is an RV resort that offers everything in a classic Maine vacation environment.
When you stay with us at our RV park in Maine, you can take a day away and stroll through historic Bar Harbor, or go hiking through the famous Acadia National Park just a short drive away. With so many options both on-site or out and about, there's something for everyone when you stay at Patten Pond RV Resort!
Had a great time but I dropped my key for my car when I stayed in August and to this day have not been able to speak with anyone from Patten Pond. Please get in touch with me ASAP or provide me a working phone number that doesnt go to a mail box that never gets checked.

The staff is very friendly and helpful. My kids loved the bingo and the kayak rentals. I also LOVE that this campground does not charge for package pick ups..... Something I sadly see a lot of Thousand Trails campgrounds are starting to do. Thank you for offering this service included in our stay. We appreciate it. My biggest tip: Visit the pond beachfront at night, it is majestic!!!

My wife and I stayed here for labor day weekend. This place is great. Staff is friendly and helpful. Our site was plenty roomy and shaded. They had stuff going on throughout the weekend which was nice.
The pond is beautiful and there is a lot there for kids to do. Very clean and kept up throughout the campground.
The lady that checked us in was amazing and she moved friends that were staying there with us to the site right across from us so that was great.
The location is awesome. 15 minutes from everything in Ellsworth. 30 minutes from Bar Harbor and about the same to Bangor.
We will definitely go back.

This park should be renamed “Rocky Park”. There are rocks everywhere. If you get out without hitting one or more of them consider yourself very lucky. Most of the rocks are completely unnecessary. If you are high up in your RV you won’t see them. If you have a large RV, this campground is definitely a no go. Many of the people you talk to will tell you that they have hit a rock or that they hate them. The staff refuses to have any or all of them removed. The rocks make this park “by far” the worst park of all the campgrounds in 1000 Trails and they should probably drop it out of any membership plan. Avoid this park if you don’t want bent doors or worse damage on your RV.
