  I love this shop! The staff is always friendlu and helpful. They will help you find or offer suggestions if you want or thwy will let you browse on your own. I have been to lots of fabric stores and I think Patchwork Pig has the best selection.

  The Loungin' Lizard was recommended to us by a local from a store just down the street. We are so fortunate to learn about it because we had a great time during the lunch hour. We walked in and they had the olympics on the TV in the bar area. So we grabbed a seat to watch the beach volleyball. We had a great time visiting with Amanda and enjoyed some local craft brews that they had from Sak Brewing in Durango. For food, we ordered the Portabello Quesadilla which was very good and the perfect item for us to share. The veggies were delicious, but I had a hard time picking out the Portabello mushrooms. We saw them making the Peach Cobler, so after seeing the ingredients that went into the cobbler we had to order one. We were pleased that we did, because it was wonderful. Our visit was great and we were fed and ready to get back onto the road.

  This store and it's many selections are so appreciated and it's a definite asset to this county especially for quilters and seamtresses who want quality. The staff is friendly and helpful and always willing to share their expertise.
