- DSDerek SchmittSep 24, 20253.0I just don’t understand this company. Home Depot is now open in Manor and it’s 14 minutes away. The store is super handy and has a broad array of merchandise. I bet I wanted to go down to Parkers but it’s closed. It’s going to close permanently if they don’t realize that when at least half the people here are in Austin when they are open. The people of Elgin are here Sunday, which may be their only day off to catch up around the house. I just got home from work about 5:20 and I wanted to run down there and it’s already closed. I’m sure they could capitalize on people buying local, but you gotta be open. Love the store and the people.

They always have someone load wood or sand, concrete on the yard which is great for someone like me with constant back problems. I highly recommend this place. The only thing I would say is that a few things could be cheaper like simple items like hand screw drivers or flat heads.
- MMm moggMay 6, 20231.0Their store hours in google are wrong. Their credit card machines were down so I couldn’t catalogue my business expense. They didn’t have tax forms up front. The cashier said they were “always down in the morning” as if knowing about the reoccurring problem was somehow better? I asked where the ratchet straps were and the older gentleman said “is that all he needs” being a woman I said “ all who needs?” He literally said “the man you’re getting them for”. As if a woman couldn’t need those things? Honestly don’t know. He proceeded to say I must be moving. Sir I own a beekeeping business and need more straps to tie down hives on the daily. Women use them I really don’t get it by it made sense to say that. Explain the joke cause I don’t get it. Should’ve gone to the other hardware store in town. I totally will be from now on
