This enormous platter presents a vibrant and deeply satisfying portion of a classic spiced chicken and rice dish. The long-grain rice.has a beautiful, rich golden-brown hue, suggesting it has been perfectly cooked in an aromatic, flavorful broth infused with traditional spices like cardamom, saffron, and cinnamon. The visible textures and garnishes promise a delightful complexity.

Absolutely terrible service — never coming back.
Went in to order Chicken 65 Biryani for takeout. The restaurant was quiet with no crowd or visible orders, yet I was made to wait over an hour. No one was at the billing counter for the first 20 minutes — not a single person acknowledged me. When someone finally did show up, the billing staff was outright rude, shouting for no reason. The interaction felt deeply uncomfortable not just for me but for the other customer next to me, and as a South Indian, I couldn’t ignore the clear undertones of racism in the way I was treated. Disgraceful behavior from start to finish.
I wouldn’t even consider giving 1 ⭐️ as this ruined my mood for an entire day.

Highly recommend their Mulligatawny soup 10/10. Cant express the taste in words, it was the best soup I ever had.
Shahi paneer tikka masala with white rice was amazing too. Can you imagine having the best quality panner with 17-20 pieces in one serving? Its insane 10/10

We’re visiting from New Zealand, and this is our first time in New Jersey. Thanks to a recommendation from our hotel host, we discovered this hidden gem — and we’re so glad we did! Mohammed took care of us with warmth and generosity. He even offered to prepare a dish that wasn’t on the menu — talk about going above and beyond! We left with full bellies and an even fuller appreciation for the outstanding customer service. We hope to return soon!

This place was reviewed quite well online and so we visited for a take-away meal.
After some deliberation on what to get (as the menus was quite extensive) we ordered 4 dishes; Saag Aloo, chicken Korma, boneless Chicken byriani and a garlic Naan.
They charged us half the price for the Saag aloo as we wanted a smaller portion and also kindly gave us a free poppadom and jasmine rice.
The total was $82.37 with sales tax and card process fee’s. I wish I had paid in cash and gave a tip instead. Noted for future.
The staff were friendly and helpful and the meal was good but overall much more spicy than expected.
Would recommend if you like spicy food and are staying near Journal Square in Jersey City.
