The server was extremely professional and attentive. She stopped by our table every 5 minutes or so. The manager also came to check on us and appreciated our feedback. This is definitely a place you want to take your out-of-town guests or anyone you would like to impress.

Celebrated my 25th birthday here this weekend for the first time. Service was amazing but the food and prices were a bit of a letdown. Definitely overpriced for the quality. Women’s restroom was dirty. Rice was too dry, which was super disappointing. What was mostly shocking was how much an alcohol shot was ($15 each). Thankful for the server who double checked if we were okay with the price before even ringing it up. For reference, big margarita ranges from $12-18 here. So $30 for 2 shots is insane, personally. The staff was nice enough to comp a birthday dessert which was delicious and sing happy birthday Pappasito’s style.

One of the best Tex-Mex spots in San Antonio. Great food, great vibe, great service. The fajitas are the star of the show, juicy, flavorful, and perfectly grilled. Chips and salsa are always fresh, and the margaritas are dangerously good. It gets crowded (because it’s good), so be prepared to wait, but the experience is worth it.

Haven’t been to Pappasito’s in a while. Not what it used to be. We ordered chicken fajitas for 2 and it came out very fast. So quick that it wasn’t sizzling on the hot plate like other tables that ordered fajita platters. The chicken was cut in such large pieces that they were too large for the small corn tortillas. The rice was undercooked and crunchy but had a good taste. The refried beans were good. The tortilla chips and salsa were bad. The chips tasted like oil and a bad one at that. There was a similar flavor in the roasted salsa. Our server was nice. Will skip Pappasitos next time and go to Lupe Tortilla.

Went with friend to eat. Placed at table up against a beam when plenty of rables were available. Ordered Queso with beef, Platter del Mar and Cheese Enchiladas. Requested a Chalupa but restaurant didn't know how to make it so they put beans and cheese on top of flour tortilla. Drank water. Service was very slow with larger groups seated after us being served. Waitress and Bus Boy lady kept walking back and forth between my chair and table next to me so I backed out my chair to make them stop. The chips and green salsa was terrible. The green salsa tasted really bad and the Chili con Queso was very sweet. Food finally arrived much later and the Cheese Enchiladas were so bad neither of us could eat it. The "Chalupa" the kitchen made tasted like disgusting nachos. The Platter del Mar was okay with only 6 slices of fajita meat, 4 grilled shrimp, 2 small pieces of bell pepper and a lot of grilled onion. Next morning we were both burping sulfur that smelled like rotten eggs and had diarrhea. Had to pay with another server because our server was busy helping 3 other tables. Cost was $94. Should call the Health Department.
